mosaixx: Breakthrough for optimal collaboration in mechanical engineering

Mechanical engineering is cross-departmental teamwork – from development and production to purchasing and sales. In theory, it sounds simple: everyone contributes their expertise, processes run hand in hand and the end result is a coordinated outcome.

In practice, things often look different. The more complex the production and the more departments, partners, external parties and suppliers are involved, the more difficult coordination becomes. Coordination would require a software solution that is as integrated as possible, which also links distributed teams and provides all the necessary information and up-to-date data.

However, everyday life in factories and offices is often far removed from this ideal. Without an end-to-end digital infrastructure, there is a lack of transparency as to who is working on what, which data is up-to-date and where bottlenecks are hidden. Agreements are made via countless emails, versions of design plans exist in duplicate and important information is lost between Excel spreadsheets and PDFs.

This digital imbalance not only slows down the efficiency and innovative strength of mechanical engineers, but also costs time and money as a consequence. With the knowledge of these very practical problems, mosaixx has designed the cloud platform of the same name. A central component of this is the hybrid approach to data management.

Our platform is designed to meet the needs of our customers: we create greater transparency, efficiency and seamless collaboration in long and complex project business processes.

From silos to synergies

How mosaixx achieves the breakthrough for optimal collaboration in mechanical engineering

The industry is a technological leader, but there is room for improvement in terms of digital transformation. In collaboration with a growing ecosystem of renowned companies such as Autodesk, AWS, Dassault Systèmes and Visual Components, the cloud platform, which complements KUKA Digital's portfolio, is breaking new ground in digital transformation. All partners will be represented at the mosaixx booth at automatica 2025 in Munich, providing practical insights into the new solution and the industrial engineering of the future.
